Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico —
In the world of wine, great labels are never a matter of chance. Behind every international award lie years of work in the vineyard, precise decisions in the cellar, and an unwavering commitment to making wines that can compete with the best in the world.
At Tres Raíces, we understand that excellence isn't achieved with a single harvest or a single wine. It's built vintage after vintage, by putting our wines in front of some of the most demanding competitions on the international stage. Thanks to the leadership of winemaker Aarón Huertas and the dedication of the entire team behind the winery, we have built a track record grounded in consistency, discipline, and a constant pursuit of excellence. That effort has paid off: so far in 2026 alone, Tres Raíces has won 54 international medals, a reflection of the work, passion, and commitment behind every bottle we make.

Today we can proudly say that Tres Raíces remains the most awarded winery in the state of Guanajuato and one of the most decorated in Mexico, building on a legacy of quality and consistency.
A MEDAL MEANS MUCH MORE THAN RECOGNITION
International wine competitions bring together winemakers, sommeliers, Masters of Wine, wine journalists, and buyers from around the world for fully blind tastings, where each label is judged solely on its quality, balance, complexity, and expression.
Winning a medal is already an extraordinary achievement; doing so consistently year after year shows something even more important: the ability to maintain a standard of excellence regardless of vintage or competition.
In 2026, Tres Raíces once again demonstrated that consistency by competing in some of the most prestigious competitions and guides in the industry.
THE STAGES WHERE WINE SHOWS ITS TRUE LEVEL
Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026
The journey began at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB), considered one of the most important international competitions in the world. Each edition brings together thousands of wines from dozens of countries, assessed in strict blind tastings by a panel of internationally recognized experts. Winning a medal here means competing at the highest level and joining a select group of wines that stand out for their quality.

In this edition, Tres Raíces became the Guanajuato winery with the most medals at the competition, reaffirming the state's leadership in producing high-quality wines and the winery's commitment to excellence.
Guía Peñín 2026
Tres Raíces' presence continued in Guía Peñín, the most influential specialist publication on Spanish wine and one of the references most consulted by consumers, distributors, and importers. Scoring above 90 points is a technical endorsement reserved for outstanding wines.

In this edition, Tres Raíces was one of only two Mexican wineries to earn 12 wines with 90 points or more, and the higher scoring of the two. With a top score of 93 points, Tres Raíces was confirmed as the highest-rated winery in Guanajuato and the only one in the state to achieve that distinction.
Bacchus 2026
Next came the awards at Bacchus, the only Spanish competition endorsed by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the World Federation of Major International Wine Competitions (VINOFED).
Over the past three years, Tres Raíces has shown remarkable consistency at this competition, winning Grand Gold and Gold medals year after year, reaffirming the quality of its wines and their place among the competition's standout labels.

Decanter World Wine Awards 2026
Another highlight of the year was our participation in the Decanter World Wine Awards, organized by the British magazine Decanter. Considered by many to be the most prestigious competition in the world, it brings together some of the industry's most experienced judges.

Virtus International Awards 2026
The international journey continued at the Virtus International Awards in Portugal, a competition that brings together wines and spirits from different regions of the world, assessed in rigorous professional tastings by a specialist panel.
In recent years, Tres Raíces has also shown remarkable consistency at this competition, winning Grand Gold and Gold awards year after year, reaffirming the winery's ability to compete on the international stage.
Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition 2026
Held in Spain, this competition recognizes wines and spirits from different regions of the world through evaluations by a specialist panel. In this edition, Tres Raíces won 12 medals, including 3 Grand Gold and 9 Gold medals.

London Tasting Awards 2026
Held in the United Kingdom, this competition recognizes wines that combine technical quality, identity, and an outstanding experience for the consumer.

In this edition, where most medals went to European labels, only six awards were given to wines from the entire American continent, and two of them went to Tres Raíces, highlighting Mexico's potential on the international wine scene, and this was our very first time entering the competition.
Concours International de Lyon 2026
Finally, the international journey reached the Concours International de Lyon in France, one of Europe's recognized competitions in the wine sector.
In our first time entering this competition, Tres Raíces won 5 medals, a result that reflects the character, quality, and passion that define our wines and reaffirms our ability to compete and stand out on the international stage.

On each of these stages, Tres Raíces wines earned their place among labels from some of the most important wine-producing countries in the world, reaffirming the quality that defines the project.
A JOURNEY THAT IS JUST BEGINNING
What defines Tres Raíces isn't just the number of medals, but the ability to repeat these results year after year. Maintaining that level requires a vision shared by the whole team.
Under the direction of winemaker Aarón Huertas, every harvest is a new opportunity to refine processes, innovate, and keep raising the quality of our wines. That philosophy has allowed the winery to keep earning international recognition and strengthen its presence in Mexico and abroad.

More than a source of pride, these results are a commitment to everyone who enjoys wine and trusts Tres Raíces as a benchmark of Mexican winemaking.
Medals reflect a job well done, but they are never the final destination. Every award pushes us to keep growing, innovating, and proving that Mexican wine can go head to head with the best labels in the world.
Being the most awarded winery in Guanajuato is an achievement that honors the effort of an entire team, but also a responsibility that inspires us to look ahead.
Because excellence isn't achieved just once: it's built every day, harvest after harvest, competition after competition, and bottle after bottle.
